Two worlds and two
cultures will be linked by an ideal musical bridge to honour
the human and spiritual character of Padre Eusebio Chini. In
homage to his commitment as missionary and explorer, and to
the fraternal spirit that motivated him to spend his
life in distant, unknown lands, to serve the poor inhabitants
at a time of massive, global change.
This will be a voyage into the musical atmosphere of America as
discovered and then loved by a stout-hearted man of unshakeable
faith, a son of our own homeland.

August 10th through August 18th: the city of Cles (Val
di Non) will sponsor the OMAGGIO A PADRE KINO, (an exhibit
in honour of Padre Kino) in the Sala della Colonna.
Visitors will enjoy a display of artifacts by Mexican and
Southwestern artists from Sonora, Mexico and the southwestern US, areas
dear to Padre Kino.
