\"\"<\/a>The good Death of Kino on Laetare Sunday<\/span> – Kino passed away in Magdalena on March 15th, 1711 on the occasion of the celebration of the 4th Sunday of Advent, known also as Laetare Sunday The expression comes from the beginning of the Mass, introitus, or antiphona to introitum, this is the chant that accompanies the entrance procession of the celebrant and of his ministers, that in Roman Catholic rite \u00a0begins with Laetare Jerusalem, which means: Rejoice, Jerusalem.
\n\"\"<\/a>This moveable feast can fall between 1st<\/sup>\u00a0March and 4th<\/sup> \u00a0April included. The fourth sunday of Lent is the sunday of Hope. For this the Lenten fasting and penance are reduced, the music accompanies the singing, the altar is decorated with flowers and the celebrants wear pink chasubles instead of the purple ones. For Kino that of March 15, 1711, was a Sunday of joy as he was celebrating Mass for the dedication of the new chapel dedicated to St. Frances Javier patron saint and his example of life. Mass, which unfortunately could not finish because of a sudden illness which was followed by rapid his death. So despite of his physical death, for his soul it was a joyful day for his departure to the house of the Lord.<\/p>\n
