Online Video of Bishop Kicanas’ Kino Presentation at Catholic University’s “Founding Padres” Discussion.

kino_founderOn April 22nd 2015, the IPRCUA (Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies at Catholic University of America) in Washington, D.C. hosted a conference about “The Founding Padres” of the U.S – namely: Jacques Marquette, S.J.  (1637 1675), Eusebio Francisco Kino, S.J. (1645-1711) and  Junipero Serra, O.F.M. (1713-1784).
All the three were priests, missionaries  and explorers and because of their personal extraordinary and unceasing committment, were honored with statues standing in the United States Capitol’s Hall of Heroes. The IPRCUA speakers discussed their contributions as Founding Padres  to the History of the United States and of the catholic Church in the country.

A special thanks to the Facebook profile “Eusebio Kino” which keeps us posted on important news about Father Kino!
